Tasting Notes:
A wonderfully balanced Chardonnay with crisp apple tones, honeydew melon, bright acidity and a hint of pear. Structured fruit with light oak and a mineral wet stone finish. A refreshing yet elegant wine with all the bouquet of the inaugural 2007 vintage.

Production Notes:
Just 3 tons of fruit was picked this year because of the severe cold experienced early in the growing season. The grapes were pressed whole cluster and cold settled prior to racking and barrel-aging. New and used French oak was used with a little less of the juice going through malolactic fermentation than the 2007 vintage. The 2008 retains many of the same characteristics of the 2007 with slightly more acid and a crisp style.
